according to the calendar it's time for my annual journal wishing generic good cheer upon you all.
thanks to festive songs, my youngest brother believes that a partridge is a type of pear.
it's rather warmer than usual for December – 14 degrees c predicted for tomorrow. hopefully it'll cool down a bit in the coming weeks.

It's been exactly one year since I last posted a journal. Time for another one, to prove I'm still active/alive if nothing else.

I thought Pages had deleted all my documents, which included many hours of work, but it turns out they'd just been relocated to the iCloud for no apparent reason. Getting them back, I was very, very relieved.
EDIT: Oh, and also 3k pageviews.
Oh, and since it's 1st January, happy 213th birthday to the United Kingdom! (And also New Year's). I hope this year doesn't live in the previous year's shadow, as 2013 did. And not having so many celebrity deaths would be appreciated too.

Well that was quick!

Just recently (well, a couple of months ago) I posted a journal celebrating 1,000 pageviews. Now I've hit 2,000. I'd have expected the rate to slow after a thousand, but instead it's increased! I'll be sure to upload something soon. Also, I finally got the 'webcam' on my page working.
